Eastview Middle School - Morning Announcements

B - Day

  • Due to all the water, the picnic table area and the playground will be off limits to students until it dries up.

  • Grade 7 badminton for the upcoming week:

    • Thursday Apr. 19 - Girls lunch practice

    • Boys Don Campbell - 3:30-5:00pm

  • Fantastic News Eastview Eagles! Back by popular demand, our Kids Stand Strong (social justice club) will be selling Kapow pops again this Thursday in the gathering area at noon. Bring your toonies, loonies and bills and be prepared for more of the popular flavors and a few new ones too - like creamy orange, pina colada, root beer, sour blue raspberry and so much more! Remember, this is a fundraiser for a community in Africa so we are also accepting donations.

  • Twin Day is happening on Friday April 27th!! Show your EV Pride and dress up as twins with a buddy! Three legged race, twin look-a-like contest and bake sale in the gathering area at lunch recess. All proceeds from the bake sale will go towards the Humboldt Broncos team fund. Hats/wigs will be allowed on twin day- BUT if you plan on wearing a matching hat with your twin, you MUST have also planned out entirely matching outfits. Just wearing a matching hat or having your hood up with a buddy is not allowed. If a school staff member asks you to remove your hat/wig during class time you must do so.

  • Rock Band practice at lunch recess in the band room.

  • Health Action Team members are to meet Mr. Hulyk in the PE office at lunch recess briefly today.

  • April Intramurals:

Floor Hockey in the gathering area! First 20 students to play. Participating students are expected to demonstrate positive and respectful behaviour at intramurals.
